Meet The Team

MSVR is run by a core team based at the MotorSport Vision Centre at Brands Hatch circuit. We certainly couldn't do it alone however, and are ably supported by a committed band of volunteer officials who help us at the event weekends throughout the year.

The core team comprises:

Simon Gnana-Pragasam

Sporting & Operations Manager and MSVR Club Secretary

Simon joined MSVR in early 2012, having spent a number of years as a Race Director and ARKS Instructor at Buckmore Park Kart Circuit in Kent. A Mechanical Engineering graduate, Simon has always had a passion for motorsport and can usually be found in Race Control at event weekends, often acting as the Senior Clerk of the Course.

Simon is an International-grade Clerk of the Course and a member of the FIA's new High Performance Programme.

Joe East

Commercial & Competitions Manager and MSVR Competition Secretary

Joe moved to Kent from his home-county of Cornwall to join the team at the end of 2012, having graduated earlier that year with a degree in Motorsport Management. An avid motorsport fan, Joe's responsibilities include organising the club's busy race calendar, and liaising with the series/championship organisers to ensure their drivers have access to the circuits and formats they would like.

Joe is usually based in Race Control at events acting as Clerk of the Course.

Scott Pucknell

Commercial & Competitions Coordinator

Scott has lived a stone's throw from Brands Hatch for most of his life, and as a profound motorsport enthusiast was ecstatic to join MSV's in-house racing organising division in 2022. He is hoping to complete his ARDS test this year to obtain his racing licence so he can take part in events on his weekends off! Scott's role covers the administrative elements key to the running of motorsport events.

Scott can usually be found in Race Admin as Event Secretary.

Lowenna Cleary

Race Events Administrator

A self-confessed F1 addict, Lowenna joined MSVR as a volunteer official in 2022, after graduating with a degree in Business Management. She became part of the core team in autumn 2023 as our Race Events Administrator, and is now coming to the end of her master’s degree in Business of Motorsports.

Lowenna’s role covers the essential administrative tasks that are crucial for the running of motorsport events, and at race meetings you can usually find her as the Event Secretary.

Lewis Mason

Sporting & Operations Coordinator

Lewis has always been a dedicated motorsport fanatic, beginning as a spectator taking photos, before moving on to the Race Control team, running the track limits system at race weekends. He initially joined MSVR as a volunteer Clerk of the Course, and became the latest addition to the MSVR core team in March 2024.

When Lewis isn’t working, you’ll usually find him walking around with his camera at events in the UK and Europe, or drooling over classic Le Mans cars! Lewis’ role focuses on the club's sporting and operational matters, including series/championship regulations and event documentation.

Lewis can usually be found either in Race Control as a Clerk of the Course, or in Race Admin as Event Secretary.

David Scott

Sporting Consultant

David Scott has been an integral part of MSVR since the club's inception in early 2006. Previously holding the role of Race Operations Manager, David is now enjoying semi-retirement but remains a key member of the team as the club's Sporting Consultant, and his wealth of motorsport knowledge (from club racing to FIA-level) is an ever-present resource for the team. He can generally be found in Race Control at our events in his role as Senior Clerk of the Course.

David is an International-grade Clerk of the Course and a Motorsport UK Steward.
