Meet The Team

MSVR is run by a core team based at the MotorSport Vision Centre at Brands Hatch circuit. We certainly couldn't do it alone however, and are ably supported by a committed band of volunteer officials who help us at the event weekends throughout the year.

The core team comprises:

Simon Gnana-Pragasam

Sporting & Operations Manager and MSVR Club Secretary

Simon joined MSVR in early 2012, having spent a number of years as a Race Director and ARKS Instructor at Buckmore Park Kart Circuit in Kent. A Mechanical Engineering graduate, Simon has always had a passion for motorsport and can usually be found in Race Control at event weekends, often acting as the Senior Clerk of the Course.

Simon is an International-grade Clerk of the Course and a member of the FIA's new High Performance Programme.

Joe East

Commercial & Competitions Manager and MSVR Competition Secretary

Joe moved to Kent from his home-county of Cornwall to join the team at the end of 2012, having graduated earlier that year with a degree in Motorsport Management. An avid motorsport fan, Joe's responsibilities include organising the club's busy race calendar, and liaising with the series/championship organisers to ensure their drivers have access to the circuits and formats they would like.

Joe is usually based in Race Control at events acting as Clerk of the Course.

William Marston

Sporting & Operations Coordinator and MSVR All-Comers Series Coordinator

Will joined the MSVR team in early 2022 with a passion for motorsport stemming from a background in motorsport engineering and being a track day attendee. It has been a dream of Will’s to work in the motorsport industry and he is excited to contribute to the fast-paced team. His role covers many administrative elements key to the running of events such as processing race entries and collating programme content.

On-event, Will is usually based in Race Admin as the Event Secretary.

Scott Pucknell

Commercial & Competitions Coordinator

Scott also joined the MSVR team in early 2022, strengthening the department further. Scott has lived a stone's throw from Brands Hatch for most of his life, and as a profound motorsport enthusiast was ecstatic to join MSV's in-house racing organising division. He is hoping to complete his ARDS test this year to obtain his racing licence so he can take part in events on his weekends off! Like Will, Scott's role covers the administrative elements key to the running of motorsport events.

Scott can usually be found in Race Admin as Event Secretary.

Dan Bennell

Motorsport Operations and Media Coordinator

Dan joined the team in late 2021, in a shared role with MSV Trackdays (MSVT) providing vital media and PR support for MSVR, overseeing the club's social media channels and website. Dan is also the primary point of contact for MSVT Racing’s competitors, including Trackday Trophy, Trackday Championship, Miata Trophy and the burgeoning EnduroKa series.

David Scott

Sporting Consultant

David Scott has been an integral part of MSVR since the club's inception in early 2006. Previously holding the role of Race Operations Manager, David is now enjoying semi-retirement but remains a key member of the team as the club's Sporting Consultant, and his wealth of motorsport knowledge (from club racing to FIA-level) is an ever-present resource for the team. He can generally be found in Race Control at our events in his role as Senior Clerk of the Course.

David is an International-grade Clerk of the Course and a Motorsport UK Steward.
