MSVT Trackday Trophy
Trackday Trophy is a well-subscribed series that is all about having fun with other like-minded novice racers!
MSVT wanted to create a series that made the transition from track days to racing as easy as possible, so at the end of the 2009 season Trackday Trophy was launched. The series has a feel-good atmosphere and this has filtered down through the teams that have got involved since its inception.
This may be racing, but the environment in the paddock is all about having a good time, with teams helping each other out where they can to ensure (as much as possible) that all the cars make it to the grid.
Races are designed for teams of two drivers so that the costs of running the car can be shared, together with the excitement! Classes are determined on a power-to-weight ratio with 40-minute races (which include a pit stop for driver changes) preceded by a 25-minute qualifying session. Both of which will take place on one day to reduce overnight costs.
Class structure:
- Class B: 151 – 175 bhp/tonne
- Class C: 126 – 150 bhp/tonne
- Class D: Up to 125 bhp/tonne
A bumper nine-round calendar is in place for the 2026 season, allowing competitors to battle for the class podiums across the finest circuits the UK has to offer! The iconic Brands Hatch Indy and Silverstone Grand Prix circuits feature, alongside three fantastic park circuits in Donington Park, Oulton Park and Cadwell Park. A round on the technical Snetterton 300 circuit and a return to Mallory Park are also scheduled.
