MSVT Trackday Championship
Trackday Championship (TDC) offers a competitive, yet fun-and-friendly, environment for production saloon, hatchback and sports car racers to experience the excitement of a season-long championship battle, whilst maintaining the sociable and friendly atmosphere which has always appealed to MSVT entrants.
An exciting seven round 2026 calendar features visits to some of the UK’s finest circuits, including: Brands Hatch, Donington Park and Oulton Park.
Each round consists of a 25-minute qualifying session, followed by a 40-minute race on the same day to help reduce overnight costs. Each race includes a mandatory two-minute pit stop, to allow for two-driver teams to make their driver change.
Classes are determined on a power-to-weight basis, allowing for cars up to 175bhp/tonne:
- Class B: 151 – 175 bhp/tonne
- Class C: 126 – 150 bhp/tonne
- Class D: Up to 125 bhp/tonne
The championship’s regulations allow Trackday Trophy competitors to graduate seamlessly, whilst also offering the chance to anyone with a production-based saloon, hatchback or sports car to enter. TDC’s mandated control tyre, the Yokohama ADVAN A052, has been developed for performance in both wet and dry conditions and underlines TDC’s key ethos of ensuring drivers are able to showcase their individual skills, on a level playing field.
MSVT will manage to the day-to-day running of the championship, offering familiarity to its customers from track day to championship level, with race weekend support provided by MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR).
