Miata Trophy
Since its launch in 2023, Miata Trophy has quickly established itself as one of the most competitive
championships in the country!
Competitors of NC (Mk3) and ND (Mk4) Mazda MX-5 will battle on a single grid, vying for the podium places and championship glory. An enviable 2026 calendar includes attendance at the GT World Challenge Europe meeting on the historic Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit, alongside fixtures on both the Silverstone Grand Prix, and Donington Park National circuits.
Each race event is comprised with a qualifying session and two sprint races, with all the action taking place on a single day to help reduce overnight costs. The starting grid for race one is determined in the traditional manner of qualifying result, whereas the race two grid is decided by the original qualifying result with the top fifteen reversed.
A number of control parts are in place, including a mandated tyre (Yokohama ADVAN A052), to demonstrate Miata Trophy’s key ethos of ensuring drivers are able to showcase their individual skills, on a level playing field. The MSVT Racing scrutineering team will be in attendance at every meeting.
Used around the globe as an alternative title for the Mazda MX-5, the word ‘Miata’ derives from the Old High German for ‘reward’ and drivers will be well-rewarded in success. The 2026 Champion will win a prize-drive at a predetermined 2027 EnduroKA event, alongside a bespoke Arc Racewear Race Suit.
