MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) and James Beckett Motorsport re-introduced the Champion of Brands to race schedules in 2010 and since then the series has provided Formula Fordsters with a golden opportunity to race their single-seater cars at Brands Hatch, the legendary venue that hosted the first ever Formula Ford event back in 1967! 

The Champion of Brands now runs within Brands Hatch rounds of United Formula Ford, the MSVR and James Beckett Motorsport administered championship, enjoying its own points scoring system at Brands Hatch events. This championship within a championship provides the opportunity for any driver from within one of the competition's five competing classes to become the coveted end-of-season 'Champion of Brands'. 

2025 CHAMPION OF BRANDS DATES: 

2 August - Brands Hatch Indy Circuit featuring The Peter Rogers Trophy

Winner: Race 1: Jason Smyth 

Winner: Race 2 - Peter Rogers Trophy: Jason Smyth

14 September - Brands Hatch Indy Circuit featuring the Bert Ray Memorial Trophy and the Martin Down Trophy

Winner: Race 3 - Bert Ray Memorial Trophy: Jason Smyth

Winner: Race 4 - Martin Down Trophy: Jason Smyth 

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS: Formula Ford 1600 cars competing to 2025 Ford Motor Company and MSVR issued Technical Regulations and using Avon (Nova) ACB9 and ACB10 treaded racing tyres.

2025 RACE ENTRY FEES:

Standard Entry Fee - £470. 

Early Bird £430 (if entry booked three weeks prior to the race weekend). 

PLEASE NOTE: All competing Drivers must be registered with James Beckett Motorsport as a United Formula Ford competitor to enter a race event. Please contact James Beckett Motorsport to complete your Mandatory Driver Registration Documentation.
