7 Racing
The newly branded 7 Racing is a hugely successful Caterham race series in the UK and Europe.
The 7 Racing Championhsip boasts large grids of 420R and 1600cc cars across all of our events in both the UK and Europe. We only visit the highest profile race circuits, including Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Donington Grand Prix circuits.
The racing is close and fair, while keeping a close eye on the regulations to help ensure a level playing field for all. We also pride ourselves on having a friendly paddock. Our hospitality area is open to all and we actively encourage the social side of our race weekends.
Here is what some of the drivers have said!
“The 7 Race series is great, the racing is super competitive and the driving standards are at the right level. It’s a real family atmosphere too, the paddock is lively and the hospitality is good. Winning the Championship in 2020 was the icing on the cake. I’m looking forward to trying to regain the crown in 2022” Phil Jenkins – 2020 420R Champion.
“I have raced in several of the different Caterham Race Series and have found the 7 Race Series suits me better than the others. I like the opportunity to race at some real ‘bucket list’ circuits with like minded folks who have become good friends. Really looking forward to 2022” Jason McCormack – 2021 1600 Champion.
The Championship is open to the following Caterham models:
420R - the 2.0ltr Ford Duratec engine, combined with a Sadev six-speed sequential gearbox and Titan limited slip differential. The car is fitted with Bilstein racing suspension and an upgraded braking system. Engines are sealed by Caterham or McMillan Motorsport
310R- a class combining the 270R, 310R and the older Supersport cars. All utilising the 1.6 Ford engine albeit the 310R taking a slight advantage with the variable cam timing version of the engine and a Mazda gearbox, compared to the Ford gearbox found on the older Supersport. Engines are sealed by Caterham or McMillan Motorsport
All classes use the fantastic Toyo R888R GG compound tyres that offer excellent grip levels in both wet and dry conditions, while being affordable, durable and readily available.
