Competitors in the United Formula Ford Championship have an added incentive ahead of the 2026 season opener, with a free tyre giveaway announced for drivers entering the opening round at Silverstone Circuit next month.

Thanks to the support of Nova Motorsport and Avon Tyres, one lucky driver will receive a brand-new set of Formula Ford 1600 tyres during the Silverstone event weekend.

The prize draw is open to any driver who has registered for the 2026 United Formula Ford season and entered the April race meeting at Silverstone. All eligible competitors will be entered into a lucky-dip draw, which will be conducted online on Friday evening, with the winning driver receiving their tyres at the circuit.

The draw coincides with the championship’s Early Bird entry offer, which closes this Friday, three weeks ahead of the Silverstone event.

United Formula Ford organiser James Beckett said the promotion is designed to reward early commitment from competitors while boosting what is expected to be one of the strongest grids of the season.

“We’re grateful to Dan Stanton and the team at Nova Motorsport for their support in providing a set of Avon FF1600 tyres for this draw. It’s a great incentive for drivers who have already committed to the season and the Silverstone round, and we’re aiming to see a packed grid on the National Circuit.”

United Formula Ford organisers are targeting a strong opening grid for the visit to Silverstone’s National Circuit, which can accommodate up to 36 starters, with hopes of seeing 30 or more cars on the grid to launch the 2026 season in style.

The tyre giveaway forms part of the championship’s ongoing efforts to reward committed competitors while strengthening the paddock for what promises to be another competitive season of Formula Ford racing.
