MSVR returns to Leicestershire this weekend (July 15/16) for the latest bout of MSVR Club Car Championships, with a hugely diverse and competitive timetable awaiting spectators at Donington Park.

After a short break, Miata Trophy are back for their fifth and sixth round of their inaugural season. The single-make championship pits two generation of Mazda MX-5 against each other on a single grid, while enforcing a high level of driving standards to ensure close, fair racing. Miata Trophy has already produced some truly epic battles on track and it’ll be fascinating to see if John Langridge can best rivals to extend his lead atop the overall championship standings. Further single-make action dominates Sunday’s timetable, with the ever-popular EnduroKA returning for a five hour endurance test on Donington Park’s National configuration. A whole host of cheery Mk1 Ford KAs will descend on the Leicestershire circuit for their third outing of 2023, all vying for the podium places and the Dagenham Dustbin too!

There will be plenty for Sports Prototype fans to sink their teeth in to, as both Sports 2000 Championship and Clubmans Sports Prototype Championship are on the bill. Two grids of Sports 2000 Championship fill the timetable on Saturday, as both Historic and Duratec machinery contest in Leicestershire. Michael Gibbins has enjoyed an exceptional start to 2023 and paves the way in the overall Duratec Championship, while Charlie Hyett has been the driver to beat in the Historic Championship. Offering front-engined, "slicks and wings" racing across the leading motor-racing circuits in the UK, the competitive Clubmans Sports Prototype Championships are back for their fourth race meeting of the year this weekend. With four classes of Clubmans competing across multiple races on both Saturday and Sunday, there will be plenty of action to entertain those in attendance.

A further source of entertainment will be eBay MSVT Trackday Trophy. The well-subscribed series is set to welcome a capacity grid of production saloon, hatchback, and sports car racers to Donington Park for their fourth expedition of 2023. Each race this year has yielded a different winner and you can expect a large and diverse grid of competitors all itching to become the fourth this time out.

Lastly, MSVR is delighted that this weekend will feature some of the quickest (and smallest!) racing machines in the world – the BSRC Super Series Superkarts. The British Superkart Racing Club are the longest standing Superkart club in the UK and will compete in three, gripping races across Saturday and Sunday.

For an added bonus, all the racing action this weekend will be live streamed on the MSV TV YouTube page!
