The R&G Moto4 British Cup is one of the showcase support races to the British Superbike Championship, fully focused on developing the stars of the future in the Road to MotoGP™ programme. 

At the end of the season a rider will be selected to continue his/her Road to MotoGP™. The championship into which the selected rider will be promoted will depend on the level and potential of the chosen rider. MotoGP SEG and MSVR will study the M4B field throughout the year and make this decision in order to provide the opportunity that is the best fit for the chosen rider to keep progressing and learning on the Road to MotoGP™.

The options will be either the Moto4 European Cup, Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup or FIM Moto3™ Junior World Championship, the promotion will also take into consideration the age restrictions of each championship.
